Over the years, thousands of high school students, mostly from area high schools, have participated in the contest. Working in small teams on a challenging set of problems for several hours, students have tested their programming skills and problem solving abilities.

Spack has participated in the Siena Programming Contest for a few years with many club members participating. In 2021, we won 3rd place in the Green category (virtually). In 2022, we won 2nd place in the Green category!
