Library Procedures

Book Borrowing 📖

• The loan period for all print materials and Follett ebooks & audiobooks is 30 school days. 

• Students may renew if no one else is waiting for the book(s). 

• Books overdue by 30 or more days will be considered lost, and students will be charged for the cost of the book. Upon receiving the invoice, if the student returns the book, the fee will be removed. Library borrowing privileges may be suspended until fees are settled. Audio and eBooks will automatically return themselves. 

• Students will be charged for the replacement cost of lost or damaged book. 

Library Lunch Wave Guidelines 🥪

🪑Spots are Limited

Passes are LIMITED each day. 

Students cannot obtain passes for others.

🎟️ Get a Pass

Get a pass from Mrs. McCool BEFORE the lunch period starts.

ALL students must have a pass.

💻 Sign In

Not going to lunch 1st? Arrive within 5 min. of the wave.

Eating first? Arrive within 15 min. of the wave. 

⏱️No Shows & Tardies

If you get a lunch pass but show up late or or don’t show up, you will not get another pass. 

🚫 No Food 

Students may not eat their lunch in the library.

Wildcat 🐱

• Students may sign up for Wildcat in the library through Adaptive Scheduler. 

• Students may not obtain passes from other teachers to come to the library during Wildcat unless it's to print, get tech help, or to check out a book. 

• Students may not use phones during Wildcat in the library 

• Any student who cannot follow the expectations, will not be permitted to sign up for the library until further notice. 

Behavioral Expectations 😇

• Use low voices when speaking in the library 🤫

• Leave furniture where it is 🛋️

• Throw your trash away 🗑️

• Put things back where they belong 🗂️

• No eating 🚫🍽️ 

Students who are unable to follow these expectations will be asked to leave the library until they can demonstrate appropriate behavior.
