World History

Expectations

1. Come to class prepared mentally and materially. 

2. Be in your seat and working by the tardy bell. (This means Textbooks out, completing bell ringer)

3. Be a leader by example.

4. The product of your work is the sum of a good attitude! 

5. Turn all work in on time. Any late work will lose a percentage of the assignment grade.

Class Rules

1. No phones. No warnings. No Exceptions. State Law

2. Zero tolerance for tardiness. (Must have note from teacher)

3. Respect yourself and others.

   1. Everyone will be addressed as sir or ma'am. 

   2. We will not use “yup” or “yeah.”

4. Respect this school.

   1. Chromebooks, Textbooks, desks, chairs, etc.

5. Complete assignments on time.

   1. Late work = 10% off

   2. If you are absent, you are responsible for obtaining your work.

6. No name = No credit

   1. If you do not put your name, the assignment will be thrown out and you will redo. (-10% for late work)

   2. If I can’t read it = -5 pts on total assignment grade

Consequences

1st Offense: Warning

2nd Offense: Lunch Detention

3rd Offense: Detention & 2 page (8 paragraph) essay on how World History is important in everyday life OR why you broke _____ rule and how you WILL fix it going forward. This will be handwritten.

4th Offense: Mr. Martin’s office.
