2025/2026 High School Physical Education Schedule
We will be working out and getting moving during this class. It is not a blowoff or a study hall period. We will learn to get healthier and do workouts the right way. Teamwork, sportsmanship, and respect are aspects that we will focus on. Working out is something that should be and is fun and we will learn how to make that happen. Everyone needs to workout to have a balanced and healthy life, it is not just for sports.
Monday: Mile Monday
Walk/Jog/Run 1 mile in the gym (18 laps around the basketball court). With the goal of improving your time and endurance over the course of the year.
Tuesday: Weight Training
Learning how to lift weights and get stronger. Having an emphasis on doing things the correct way, not looking for heavy weights.
Wednesday: The Hive
Learning to use the equipment in The Hive. With a goal of learning how to be they work and becoming more fit in the process.
Thursday: Team Sport Thursday
Playing a team sport with the entire class. Will change weekly and our goal is to learn teamwork and sportsmanship. (basketball, football, soccer, relays, ect.)
Friday: Fun Friday
As long as everyone participates and follows the rule we will do something fun to end the week. Spin a wheel full of activities. (student choice, watch a video, study hall, ect.) We will build this as the year goes on
