STYL Solutions Pte. Ltd. (hereinafter “STYL”, “we”, “our”, and “us”) is committed to protecting the privacy and security of your personal information. This privacy notice describes how we collect and use personal information about you when you visit our office location(s) in Singapore, in accordance with data protection law, including PDPA.
STYL is a “Data Controller”, and "Data Controller and Processor". This means that we are responsible for deciding how we hold and use personal information about you and directly processing your personal information. We are required under data protection legislation to notify you of the information contained in this privacy notice.
This notice applies to all visitors who visit STYL’s office(s) in Singapore. Please take the time to review this notice, along with any additional privacy notices provided when we collect or process your personal information for specific purposes.

We will comply with personal data protection law which means that the personal information we hold about you is:
a) Used lawfully in a transparent way.
b) Collected only for valid purposes that we have clearly explained to you and not used in any way that is incompatible with those purposes. No buying or selling of personal data, except as allowed by the law.
c) Relevant to the purposes we have told you about and limited only to those purposes.
d) Accurate and kept up to date.
e) Kept securely and protected against unauthorized or unlawful processing and against loss or destruction using appropriate technical and organizational measures.
f) Retained for a duration appropriate to the purposes of data processing, unless otherwise specified by the law.
When you visit STYL, we require all visitors to register themselves and provide information for our Information Security Management System (ISMS) records. The personal information we collect includes:
Your personal or work email;
Your name;
Your company's name;
Your personal or work phone number;
The reason for your visit;
Check-in and check-out times;
Whether you visit the server room and the reason if you do so;
photographs and other audio-visual information (such as CCTV recordings and video surveillance footage).
We collect your personal information by requesting you to fill out the provided information in a Google form located in our reception area.
Failure to provide certain requested information will result in us being unable to grant you access to our premises.
We will only use your personal information for the purposes for which we collected it unless we reasonably consider that we need to use it for another reason and that reason is compatible with the original purpose. If we need to use your personal information for an unrelated or new purpose, we will notify you and we will explain the legal basis which allows us to do so. Please note that we will if necessary process your personal information without your knowledge or consent, in compliance with the above rules, where this is required or permitted by law.
We process your personal data to:
Ensure compliance with ISO27001.
Ensure the security of our premises and the safety of our employees
In the event of an emergency such as a fire, natural disaster, or security breach, this record can assist in efficient evacuation procedures and accurate accounting for all individuals present within the building.
We only share your personal data with STYL Representative office(s)/ Branches for centralized security oversight.
We generally do not transfer your personal data to countries outside of Singapore. However, if we do so, we will obtain your consent for the transfer to be made and will take steps to ensure that your personal data continues to receive a standard of protection that is at least comparable to that provided under the PDPA.
We have in place appropriate security measures to protect your personal data from access by unauthorized persons and against unlawful processing, accidental loss, destruction, and damage.
We limit access to your personal information to those employees, agents, contractors, and other third parties who have a business need to know. They will only process your personal information on our instructions and they are subject to a duty of confidentiality.
We have put in place procedures to deal with any suspected data security breach and will notify you and any applicable regulator of a suspected breach where we are legally required to do so.
We may retain your personal data for as long as it is necessary to fulfill the purposes for which they were collected, or as required or permitted by applicable laws.
We will cease to retain your personal data, or remove the means by which the data can be associated with you, as soon as it is reasonable to assume that such retention no longer serves the purposes for which the personal data were collected, and are no longer necessary for legal or business purposes.
We need your help to keep our records accurate and current. This means that we need you to be vigilant with keeping information like your address, phone number, and personal email up to date. In some cases, failing to provide us with accurate data will impact our ability to function as a business and to comply with legal obligations.
We rely on you to "Take Ownership". If you have access to people's personal information, it's important to make smart choices about how you use it. Here's what that means:
i) Think about why you need the data.
ii) Make sure your use of the data matches the reasons we've outlined in our policy.
iii) See if there's another way to achieve your goals without using personal data.
After you've thought about these things, it's also crucial to i) Keep the data safe.
ii) Report any misuse of data, whether it happens by accident or on purpose. iii) Stay up to date with the training we provide on this topic.
We rely on our Employees to keep data confidential. You may use this data only as necessary for the performance of your role and must protect the confidentiality of personal data at all times.
You have the right to make choices about your personal data. Where applicable and in certain circumstances, these legal rights include:
a) The right to give consent and withdraw consent for data you’ve provided to us;
b) The right to request confirmation that we are processing your data and be provided with access to the data we process about you;
c) The right to update your data if it’s out of date, incomplete, or inaccurate;
d) The right to have your data deleted;
e) The right to restrict the processing of your data;
f) The right to receive a copy of your data that we are holding;
g) The right to object to the processing of your personal data;
h) The right to complain, report, and file a lawsuit;
i) The right to demand compensation for damages when there is a violation of regulations on protecting your personal data;
j) The right to self-defense;
