Service Hours Past Due!
All students should have submitted their service hours and had them verified in MobileServe by now. Seniors’ hours were due by April 1st, and hours for Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors were due by May 1st.
Students who did not complete their required Christian Service hours for the 2025–2026 school year, along with their parent/guardian, should have received an email notification from Mrs. Cooper. Those students are expected to complete any remaining hours over the summer. Many students simply still need hours verified in MobileServe, so please be sure all submitted hours have been approved by a supervisor. Please see the service hour requirements on the school website and the student handbook! Instructions for using MobileServe are included below, along with service opportunities. If you have any questions or need help, please email Mrs. Cooper.
Christian Service Program Update for 2026-2027 School Year
We are excited to share that the Class of 2030 will be the first group of students to participate in our newly redesigned Christian Service Program at St. Vincent–St. Mary High School.
This updated program has been thoughtfully created to provide students with more meaningful and accessible service opportunities that are integrated into the school day and throughout the school year. Rooted in our Catholic mission and inspired by Matthew 25 — “whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me” — this new approach is designed to help students better understand the importance of serving others with compassion, humility, and purpose.
Because of this new structure, students in the Class of 2030 will 1) have a reduced service-hour requirement compared to previous classes and 2) complete their service requirements during school hours over the course of the school year. There is nothing that students/families of the Class of 2030 need to complete over the summer regarding service hours.
Please note that students in the Classes of 2027, 2028, and 2029 will continue to follow the current Christian Service Program requirements and must complete 25 service hours each school year to fulfill the Christian Service component of their graduation requirements. As part of the current program, students in these classes may continue to complete service hours over the summer, as they have done in previous years.
We are excited to launch this new initiative with our incoming freshmen and look forward to the many ways it will help students grow in faith, leadership, and service to others.
All students are expected to complete 25 service hours during this academic year. Please see STVM’s requirement for Christian Service Hours in the STVM Course Catalog. Service hours are due in the spring, by April 1 for seniors or by May 1 for juniors, sophomores and freshmen. Seniors are expected to complete at least 20 of those hours off campus at local non-profit organizations or with other non-STVM related groups, and Juniors are expected to complete at least 15 hours off campus. Sophomores are expected to complete at least 10 hours off campus, and Freshmen are expected to complete at least 5 hours off campus. Hours must be logged in MobileServe and verified by a supervisor. Please follow these steps:
Log into MobileServe.com using your STVM/Google credentials. Freshman and transfer students will receive an email in their inbox from TeamMobileServe that will help them claim their account.
If it is your first time logging in (transfers and freshmen), the website will ask you for a School Code, but you can just "skip this" step.
Please enter a phone number in MobileServe as a way to verify your identity.
On the home screen, there is a big blue button that will lead you to a few questions about any service hours you do.
It is important that you provide an email address for the person supervising your service. MobileServe will ask you for that email as you log your service hours. The supervisor will then receive an email from MobileServe asking them to verify your service hours. As you log your hours, you should also be double checking your MobileServe account to make sure the hours have been verified.
We recommend entering your service hours as you complete them throughout the year so that supervisors will receive verification requests right after you complete your service, not months later when they may not recall the details. The whole process works best when supervisors can verify hours in a timely fashion.
We will be checking once service hours are due to confirm that each student’s service hours have been verified.
Please email or see Mrs. Cooper in the Campus Ministry Office if you have any questions.
Students are able to begin service hours for the 2026-2027 school year on June 1, 2026. All hours after that date are able to go towards their service hour requirements for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. Please see different service opportunities for this summer below.

Volunteers should be able to walk/jog alongside a bike during camp sessions. Great opportunity for NHS students or anyone interested in education, healthcare, or service.

• 8.5 hours/day for one session
• Up to 16 hours/day for two sessions (includes orientation + all 5 days)
