STVM Recognized as Official STEM High School

STVM was proud to attend the 2025 Ohio STEM Innovation Summit, where our school was officially recognized as a STEM-designated high school—one of just 11 in the state to receive this honor.

Mrs. Faetanini, Mr. Pjesky, and Mr. Cochrane also had the opportunity to present on “Building a STEM Culture Through Design Thinking,” sharing STVM’s journey and learning alongside innovative educators from across Ohio.

We look forward to returning next year as a STEAM-designated school!

Summer PE Starts
Next Week!

If your child is registered for Summer Physical Education, please check your email for important information. Note the updated class time: 9:00 AM–3:00 PM. Doors open at 8:30 AM.

Registered students — don’t forget that Summer PE begins next week!

Classes run June 9–12 and June 16–19. Daily attendance is required to earn a pass/fail ¼ PE credit. Come ready to stay active and have fun!

SAVE THE DATE: Parents’ Club is hosting a Used Uniform Sale on Tuesday, June 10, from 3:30-5:30 p.m. in the STVM student center. Items range in price from $1-$10. Cash or check preferred; Venmo will also be accepted. Don’t miss out on your chance to save money!

DONATE NOW: Do you have items your student has outgrown? Do you want to declutter your student’s closet? Gently used uniforms/spirit wear/sports items may be dropped off at the STVM office during school hours.

2025-26 Parking Permits

Parking permits for the 2025-26 School year will go on sale June 16, 2025. 

• Cost: $70 | first come, first-served

• STVM Summer Office hours are Monday - Thursday, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.

• Please complete this required parking permit application form, and bring it with you. 

2025–2026 STVM Uniform Policy Coming Soon 

We are preparing to share the updated uniform guidelines for the upcoming school year. New additions to the uniform are being added to help maintain our school's pride and tradition.

Final Grades & College Transcripts

Final grades were pushed out on May 30th. Transcripts will be sent to colleges in June.  Seniors do not need to request that transcripts be sent.  This happens automatically.  Please contact the College Counseling Office if you need a transcript sent somewhere other than indicated in the graduation program.  

Families of Rising 10th Graders: Apply for Testing Accommodations on College Board & ACT

If your student has an IEP or 504 Plan and receives testing accommodations at school, please note that these accommodations do not automatically apply to standardized tests such as the PSAT, SAT, AP exams, or the ACT.

In order for your students to receive appropriate accommodations on these important assessments, separate applications must be submitted for:

• College Board exams (including the PSAT, which all STVM 10th graders will take in October 2026, the SAT, and AP exams).

• ACT exams (all STVM students will take the ACT in 11th grade; this is administered by a different company and requires its own process).

To allow STVM to apply for these accommodations on your student’s behalf, please complete, sign, and return BOTH of the following consent forms:

1. Consent form for College Board (PSAT, SAT, and AP tests)

2. Consent form for ACT

Submitting these forms early helps ensure that all applications are processed in time for testing. Forms can be sent to: administration@stvm.com

Student AMbassadors 

Summer Events

The 2025-26 Student Ambassadors met for a leadership workshop and training this past week and will be responsible for attending several events over the summer. Please mark your calendars for the mandatory events listed below. Students should regularly check their school email for details on events and stay tuned to the Ambassadors GroupMe app for reminders. Please contact Ms. McCarthy or Mrs. Jurevicius with any questions.

• July 16, 2025: Freshman Summer Social 8 p.m.- 10:30 p.m.

2025-26 Student Schedules

Student schedules for the 2025-26 school year will be available at the beginning of August. There will be a window prior to the start of the school year to request a schedule change.

SENIOR PARKING SPOT PAINTING

Make your first SENIOR MEMORY and paint your parking spot for the 2025-26 school year! The STVM Parents' Club is once again coordinating this fun activity.

There will be approximately 10 days scheduled in July and August with varying times and days of the week. Stay tuned! An email with more information, prices, dates, and sign up links will be sent to the Class of 2026 and their parents soon.

Note: all designs MUST be submitted and approved, and you MUST come to paint your spot on the scheduled days ONLY. Price will include a parking permit, so you do not need to buy that separately.
