Student Schedules are live in their MyIrish (Blackbaud) account. Per our handbook policy, we will offer a two-day course change request period that will start on Monday, August 11th at 12"00 AM and end on Tuesday, August 12th at 11:59 PM. Please see the policy for schedule changes that is outlined in our Parent/Student Handbook:
"STVM will do its best to accommodate student course selections; however, not every course selection may be satisfied. Schedule changes will be made only in special circumstances (medical needs, course failure, documented learning differences, etc.). Requests for specific teachers, class periods, or free periods will not be honored. A $50.00 schedule change fee must be paid before a course change request is reviewed. The Dean of Student Services will waive the fee, and you will be refunded, if the change is requested due to an error in scheduling, if we were not able to accommodate one of the student's initial requests, or if it is a correction based on graduation and academic requirements."
Students were placed in classes based on the course selection sheets filled out in Spring, and their alternate electives were used to ensure that each student had a full schedule.
CCP Study Block Requests: Students taking approved CCP courses online will need to request a study block for each semester if they would like one. You MUST complete the google form if you are requesting a study block for approved CCP courses. You will not need to pay the request change fee to make this request.
To request a change in schedule, please follow the process below:
Please CLICK HERE to pay the $50.00 course change fee (this is a flat fee, no service charges will be added) before submitting the change of schedule request. You may also drop off cash or a check at the main office by Tuesday, 8/12. No change request will be reviewed until the fee is paid. If your fee is waived, you will be refunded the $50.00.
After you pay the $50.00 fee, please CLICK HERE to submit a change of schedule request. Only students have access to the form and must log in with their STVM email.
**Please note that links will not be live until the course change window opens on Monday, August 11th at 12:00 AM.
What to expect after you submit your request and pay the fee:
If the schedule change is approved, you will see your schedule updated in MyIrish within one week and any refunds will be processed at the same time.
If your request is denied or not possible because of scheduling conflicts, you will receive an email from scheduling@stvm.com with the next steps.
** Please note if your student has outstanding fees and/or paperwork, their schedule will not be released until all issues have been resolved. Thank you for your prompt attention. to any issues.
Families of new incoming Freshmen and Transfer students: your student should have received an email to their school email account inviting them to set up their MyIrish (formerly Blackbaud) account. Please click HERE to access a step-by-step guide on getting your student's account activated. If you encounter any issues, an email address is included in the guide through which you can direct any questions.
Chromebooks will be available for pickup at the Freshman Welcome Mass and Reception or on the first day of Orientation in the LRC. Transfer students will receive their Chromebooks on Tuesday, 8/18, during Orientation Day.
To ensure a safe and well-managed environment after the school day ends, a new After-School Policy will go into effect starting 8.21.2025. Here are the key things families need to know:
All students must be in a supervised activity or signed into the Extended Supervision Room by 3:15 PM each day.
A warning bell rings at 3:12 PM, and a second bell at 3:15 PM signals that all students should be where they are supposed to be.
Extended Supervision (Room 131) runs from 3:15–4:30 PM at no cost and is required for students not in a supervised activity.
Pickup is at the Band Entrance only, and late pickups after 4:30 PM will incur a fee.
Students found unsupervised after 3:15 PM will receive an automatic AM detention.
Academic wings will be locked at 3:15 PM and are off-limits without staff permission.
This policy supports student safety, accountability, and responsible building use. Click here to read the full policy and procedures.

If an in-person retake is not possible due to scheduling conflicts, the student may be asked to repeat the grade or withdraw from STVM.
Any exceptions to this policy must be agreed upon in writing by the school counselor, the student’s parent/guardian, and members of the STVM leadership team.

To better align with our school identity, we are rebranding Blackbaud to MyIrish. This change reflects our goal to create a cohesive, user-friendly experience that feels uniquely STVM. MyIrish is our community’s go-to platform for schedules, grades, important documents, the application process, and more.
Our goal is simple: to make MyIrish the central access point for our families and staff — and a platform that reflects the excellence and organization we strive for in every area of STVM life.
Please be sure to update MyIrish with your current contact information including cell phone number. In addition to email and social media, we also use an automated dial system to provide pre-recorded voice messages in the event of an emergency or school closure.

NEWLY ADDED!
Based on the feedback we have received from our students and in collaboration with the STVM Student Council, we will be adding shorts as an option for the 2025-2026 School Year that will be permitted to be worn during the first and fourth quarters. This coming week, you will see the addition of the shorts options in the Lands' End uniform store; however, you may also purchase the shorts at a local store of your choosing. Shorts must meet the following guidelines:
The updated Uniform Policy for the 2025–2026 school year is available. In addition to returning vendors ProForma and Lands' End, BSN now carries approved items, including new Nike polos and crewnecks. Also new are Spirit Dress Down Fridays and revised uniform guidelines. Review the Uniform Policy here.
We’re excited to share that the BSN Uniform Store is officially open and ready for orders! All items will be shipped to the school and will be available for pickup in the STVM Bookstore.

The list below includes all current approved personalization options. BSN will print only the names that match one of these selections.
Unisex Crews: There are two crewneck options available—one Nike Fleece and one BSN version. While both are labeled “men’s” in the store, they are unisex as there are no separate men's and women's size options.

As part of our ongoing commitment to student health, safety, and wellness, St. Vincent-St. Mary High School will be fully implementing our Drug and Alcohol Policy, which includes a random drug testing program, during the upcoming school year. This initiative is an important part of our mission to nurture the whole person and ensure a safe, supportive environment for all students to learn and grow.
We encourage all parents and guardians to review this policy, which is outlined in the 2025-2026 Parent/Student Handbook (Release coming soon). It is essential that every family is aware of and understands this policy, as it will be actively enforced throughout the school year.
Our goal is to foster a drug-free school community that reflects our values and prepares students for success — mind, body, and spirit. Please take a moment to review this important section in the handbook and discuss it with your student.

SCHOOL SUPPLIES
We understand families are eager to prepare for the new school year and have inquired about supply lists. At STVM, individual teachers share supply requirements through their course syllabi, which are distributed on the first day of school. This process ensures that students obtain only the materials they truly need for each class.
While families are welcome to purchase general supplies such as notebooks, pens, pencils, and folders in advance, we recommend waiting until the first day to avoid unnecessary purchases. This approach is common among many high schools and helps streamline preparation for both students and parents, and it avoids unnecessary purchasing of materials.
