Senior Meetings

The Counselors presented information about the college search and application process to all seniors during their English classes. Counselors are in the process of meeting with seniors not enrolled in English this semester. You can preview the presentation here.

The counselors will continue to meet individually with each senior to solidify post high school plans. In addition, transcripts are being reviewed thoroughly to ensure all courses are documented and requirements have been met. PSAT/IOWA TESTING

On October 29, 2024, the PSAT will be administered to all Honors Freshmen and all sophomores and juniors. Seniors and juniors who need to take the IOWA test also will be testing on this date. You will be notified ahead of time if you need to report. Like last year, the PSAT is going to be completely digital. For a tutorial, click here. More details about the tests will be shared in the upcoming weeks.

College fair

Every fall, St. Vincent-St. Mary High School hosts an annual college fair for students who attend private schools in Summit County. This year’s college fair will be hosted on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 from 6-7:30 pm in the LeBron James Arena. Representatives from a wide variety of universities and colleges from across the country will be on hand to share information and answer your questions about their institutions. Please plan to attend and look for more information in the coming weeks!

career connections

STVM's annual Career Connections will be held on Thursday November 7, 2024 from 8-10:30 am in the LeBron James Arena. Professionals from a wide variety of fields will be on hand to showcase their work and talk with students about their careers. ap testing

November 15, 2024 is the deadline for students to register to take AP exams in the spring. Details will be shared with students in AP classes and updated here in the next few weeks.

ACT/SAT Testing

The following are the remaining 2024 dates for the ACT and SAT.

ACT: October 26, 2024 and December 14, 2024

SAT: November 2, 2024 and December 7, 2024

The ACT also will be administered in school at STVM in the spring of 2025 during the school day. This test is free of charge. Details will be sent out closer to the testing date.
