IRISH FAMILY CAR RAFFLE IS IN FULL SWING!
Our Fall Irish Family Car Raffle, in partnership with the VanDevere Automotive Family, kicked off this past Monday! Tickets are being sold for $10 a piece, and our goal is for each student to sell at least 20 tickets.
When a ticket is purchased through a student’s link, the purchaser will have the opportunity to direct the proceeds to a specific STVM program, including athletics, clubs, and the performing arts. 100% of the proceeds from every ticket sold helps support the programs and activities that bring the STVM experience to life!
Each student and parent received a personal raffle link that can easily be shared with family and friends through text, email, or social media. When buying tickets, purchasers will select the team, club, or program they want to support by clicking on the dropdown menu.
That designated program will receive 100% of the ticket sales, and your student receives credit toward their individual goal.

COLLEGE BUS TOUR NOW OPEN TO ALL STUDENTS
Registration is now open to all STVM students in grades 9–12 for our upcoming College Bus Tour on Monday, November 9!
This one-day trip offers students the opportunity to visit three different college environments and explore how campus size, academic programs, admissions selectivity and student life can influence their college decisions.
The goal is not necessarily to find a future college among these three schools, but to help students better understand what colleges look for in applicants and what students should consider when finding the right fit.
Students will visit:
Albion College: A small liberal arts college with approximately 1,300 students, an 81% acceptance rate and an average GPA of 3.5–3.6.
Trine University: A career-focused university with approximately 2,500 students at its main campus, an 85% acceptance rate and an average GPA of 3.5–3.7.
University of Notre Dame: A larger, highly selective Catholic research university with approximately 13,000 students, an 11–15% acceptance rate and an average GPA of 3.9–4.0.
Students will also learn how ACT score expectations and academic opportunities vary among institutions.
Trip Details
Date: Monday, November 9
Departure: 5:00 a.m. from STVM (arrive by 4:45 a.m.)
Return: Approximately 11:00 p.m.

Despite the Appeals Court ruling, all EdChoice scholarships remain fully intact for the 2026-2027 school year and will continue pending the Ohio Supreme Court's review and final decision.

OHIO SCHOLARSHIPS GOING FULLY DIGITAL FOR 2027-28
Taking a few minutes now to ensure your OH|ID account is active and accessible here will make the
scholarship application process much smoother next year.
If you have questions about your scholarship eligibility or need assistance preparing for the
upcoming application process, please contact the school office.
Families planning to apply for an Ohio state scholarship for the 2027-2028 school year should take an important step now: create or access your OH|ID account. Beginning with the 2027-2028 application cycle, the State of Ohio will move to a fully digital scholarship application process. Paper applications will no longer be accepted. Parents and guardians will need an active OH|ID account to submit scholarship applications and manage their scholarship information online.
To avoid delays when applications open on February 1, 2027, we encourage all families to:
Create an OH|ID account if you do not already have one.
Log in to your existing OH|ID account and verify that your email address is current.
Confirm that you can access the email account associated with your OH|ID profile, as it may be needed for password resets, notifications, and application updates.
Taking a few minutes now to ensure your OH|ID account is active and accessible here will make the scholarship application process much smoother next year.
If you have questions about your scholarship eligibility or need assistance preparing for the upcoming application process, please contact the school office.
