Morning Drop Off & Afternoon Pick-Up Procedures
Arrival Option 1: Bottom of the Hill:
Enter the campus from Maple Street at the bottom of the hill. Follow the orange cones and arrows on the far right side of the parking lot to Walnut Street, which runs between the school and the Cosgrove building. Students may exit cars at Door 6, located on Walnut Street.
Exiting: Vehicles should exit to West Market Street via Walnut Street or Bates Avenue (near the football stadium). Please do not circle back to exit via Maple Street, as students will be entering the lot to park in their assigned spots.
Arrival Option 2 - Door 12:
Top of the Hill: If the car line is backed up to the top of the Maple Street hill, students can enter the campus at door 12 from Maple Street. Do not pull into the Bus Lane. Please have students exit the passenger side of the vehicle only.
Pick-Up:
Follow the same procedures as for arrival. Student pick up is a door 6. Additionally, students may be picked up at Door 12 on Maple Street. The Visitor Parking Lot at the corner of Maple Street and Market Street is also available for use during dismissal. Please avoid parking in the bus lane or on Maple Street.
Please note that student drivers coming from the top or bottom of the hill will be directed to the Student Parking Lot.
CAFETERIA AND LUNCH ACCOUNT INFO
Full service lunch will be available to students starting Monday, 8/17. Breakfast will also be available each morning starting on Thursday, 8/20. However, the cafeteria will be closed Wednesday, 8/19 for the all-student picnic, during which lunch will be provided by the school.
For new students, Parents/Guardians can choose to set up a prepaid account to charge their food purchases. Cash is also accepted at the registers. If you already have an account, you do not need to register again. Accounts and balances are active from last year.
Families can easily register and manage their student’s lunch account online through PaySchools Central. This secure platform allows you to load funds, view balances, and track purchases anytime.
To get started:
Visit the PaySchools Central website.
Select the “Register” option from the menu. The portal will guide you through the steps to
establish your account. The registration information should be the parent/guardian, not the student. Use a parent/guardian email address — do not use your student’s STVM email address.
You will be prompted to enter your contact data and a payment method to activate your account.
Once all information is entered, you will receive an email from PaySchools Central with a link to confirm the registration and create your password.
The first time you log in, you will need to indicate which student(s) to attach to your account using the Add/View student tab. Student names are already loaded in the PaySchools Central system.
You will need the following information::
Choose Ohio for the state.
Under District, select Saint Vincent Saint Mary.
Student ID: You will need your student's ID (Log into your MyIrish account and the student ID's are listed on the Contact Card)
Help videos:
https://payschools.com/walkthrough-videos/
The "PaySchools Central APP" is available on Google Play or Apple App Store as well.
Once your account is set up, you can conveniently add funds online and ensure your student always has lunch money ready.

NEW BLOCK & BELL SCHEDULES RELEASED
This past week, we held a virtual parent meeting to share more information about STVM's new bell schedule, the 6-of-8 Rotating Drop Block Schedule. Included below is the link to the presentation shared during that meeting, along with the official bell schedule, rotation, and the auxiliary bell schedules used throughout the year.
If you were unable to attend, please review the information included here and email any questions to administration@stvm.com.
To view your schedule:
Log in to your MyIrish account.
Select Schedule. To see your classes, click on the Courses tab
Navigate to August 20 to view your schedule rotation for the upcoming school year.
Please note that schedules have been carefully developed based on:
Teacher recommendations
Course selections submitted last spring
Class availability and the overall master schedule
Every effort has been made to place students in their first-choice courses.
The schedule change request window will open Monday, August 3, at 9:00 a.m. and close Tuesday, August 11, at 3:00 p.m. This timeline allows our staff to process approved changes before the first day of school.
Students requesting a schedule change must:
Complete the official Schedule Change Request Form.
Submit the completed form along with the $50 schedule change fee before any approved changes will be processed.
Schedule Change Request Form and payment may be dropped off at the Irish Spirit Shop during normal school hours.
If a schedule change is approved, the updated schedule will appear in MyIrish.
Questions regarding scheduling should be directed to scheduling@stvm.com. Please do not email Ms. Sanor directly, as all requests will be processed through the scheduling office.
Schedule changes are approved only when there is a legitimate academic or scheduling reason. Requests will not be approved for the following reasons:
To change teachers
To be in a class with friends
To have a class at a preferred time of day
Building a master schedule that meets the academic needs of every student is a complex process. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work to accommodate students while maintaining balanced class sizes and preserving the integrity of the overall schedule. Only requests that meet the established criteria will be considered.

SCHOOL SUPPLIES
We understand families are eager to prepare for the new school year and have inquired about supply lists. At STVM, individual teachers share supply requirements through their course syllabi, which are distributed on the first day of school. This process ensures that students obtain only the materials they truly need for each class.
While families are welcome to purchase general supplies such as notebooks, pens, pencils, and folders in advance, we recommend waiting until the first day to avoid unnecessary purchases. This approach is common among many high schools and helps streamline preparation for both students and parents, and it avoids unnecessary purchasing of materials.
