This Ohio Scholarship Tax-Credit Program lets you “Turn taxes into Tuition” by directing your tax dollars to our St. Vincent-St. Mary High School students. The money will be used for tuition assistance for those students with the greatest need. This will help STVM meet its fundraising goals and keep tuition affordable. You don't have to have a student attending STVM to be eligible. All Ohio taxpayers can participate.
How does it work? Make a donation to Angel Scholarship Fund, for which you may receive a 100% Ohio income tax credit of up to $750 ($1,500 if married filing jointly) against your 2024 state tax liability. These funds will be used to provide tuition assistance for Catholic school students, and you can direct the funds specifically to STVM. In other words, the state of Ohio allows you to "spend" some of the state income taxes (that you must pay anyway) to provide tuition assistance for STVM students. The Angel Scholarship Fund is a win-win-win for taxpayer donors, scholarship recipients, and our Catholic schools.

The Parents’ Club is proud to be bringing the Do It for James Foundation back to STVM this year on Tuesday, April 29 with 3 sessions:
9:15-10:15 AM: Juniors and Seniors (1st block)
1:45-2:45 PM: Freshmen and Sophomores (7th block)
5:30-6:30 PM: Parents
The Do It For James Foundation was created by Tim and Tamia Woods of Streetsboro in honor of their son James, who died by suicide at age 17 after being cyberbullied.
Tim and Tamia and the Do It for James Foundation (www.letsdifj.org) have received local, statewide and national accolades for their activism on sextortion, including from the F.B.I, USA Today, and the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Tim and Tamia are beautiful people who are powerful presenters, and we encourage everyone to take advantage of this amazing opportunity to hear them speak. They will do two presentations to our students during the school day, and one presentation for parents in the evening.
While the presentations during the day are geared toward the students, parents are invited to attend the school-day sessions if they are unable to attend the evening session for parents. STVM is also inviting parents of local Catholic grade schools to attend the parent session so that as many parents as possible can hear this important and impactful presentation.
