We will try the practice tests before the students have to take their real MAP tests. Please have your child charge their Chromebooks the night before, get a good night's sleep, and eat a healthy breakfast. If possible, please send in a working mouse (if one isn't already with their Chromebook) since this helps many students maneuver the cursor much easier during the test. Ask your child if his/her headphones are working properly. Students will need them for the test.
Please remember to send any notes in your child's SUS folder.
If your child is absent, needs an early dismissal, or has a dismissal change (going home at a different time or with another student at a different time), please send in a handwritten note. Email is ok too. If this is a late-in-the-day change, please call the office to make sure I get the message.
Please check the weekly "What's Ahead Wednesday" emails for additional updates and information.

On Friday, we will begin Chapter 2 in which we will be learning about counting patterns within 100 and 1,000.
In ELA, we will be reading the informational text, "Dogs" and working on identifying an author's purpose and using context clues to define multiple meaning words.
