We had a fabulous day watching Polar Express and drinking hot chocolate and eating popcorn.

On Thursday December 4th we got to experience the snow falling. We were very excited and tried to taste the snow. :)

Today we read the story Pete The Cat and Five Pumpkins on The Gate. Then we sang the song and put pumpkins up on a gate then took them away and ate them.

Today Greyson celebrated his birthday at school. He collected his bag of goodies.

We enjoyed meeting our Prayer Partner class with 4 Faith. We colored together and learned each others name. We look forward to meeting with them again!

We created a science experiment and predicted what would occur when we put lollipops in warm water. Then we observed to see what happened.  Then we talked about if our predictions were correct.

On Tuesday we made elephant toothpaste for a Science experiment. Everyone really enjoyed watching the toothpaste grow.

Today we went on a Spring Scavenger Hunt to find signs of Spring in nature. We had a fun time finding things like worms

Yesterday we celebrated Cora for receiving the Effort Award for trimester 2 and Callum for receiving the Christian Behavior Award for trimester 2. Congratulations to the two of you! We also got a picture of those in the Pre-K Hope class.

Today we listened to the story The Lorax and made truffle trees. Then we read the story Butter Battle and made our own butter. I hope you enjoyed it at dinner!

Friday we celebrated the wedding of Mr. Q and Ms. U. It was a lovely event, and everyone enjoyed themselves.

At the end of trimester one Grant received the Effort Award and Edward received the Christian Behavior Award. Congratulations to you guys! 

On Monday we worked with our Prayer Partner class to create posters for "Brave Maeve" and birthday cards for Mt Washington children. This was part of Catholic Schools Week. The classes had a great time working together.

We celebrated Cora's birthday with a special treat of cupcakes. Happy Birthday Cora!

Our fitst day of school went well. We learned how to eat lunch in the lunch room. We also had our first Physical Education class. We had a great time learning to play some new games.

Friday we dressed as our favorite Dr. Seuss character. I was fun and very creative.

Thursday we made butter after listening to the story Butter Battle by Dr. Seuss. It was a lot of fun!

Thursday we made truffle trees after reading The Lorax. They really enjoyed this activity.

On Monday we started our week of celebration for Read Across America with Dr. Seuss stories and learning how to identify rhyming words. Tuesday we read Green Eggs and Ham and made a treat of green eggs and ham.

Friday we celebrated our Q and U wedding because U is bound to Q to make words.

Today Ash Wednesday, Father Jason came to our class to distribute ashes to remind us to repent during Lent. 

Happy 100th day of school Pre-K. You are so much smarter!

Today was Spirit day. We enjoyed watching some activities in the gym and cheering on our teachers.

We had a great visit with Grandparents today!  They sang a song, and made a craft, then played Thanksgiving Bingo. It made for a awesome day.
