Nov. 14-16 Radium Girls- The first STAGE production of the Year!
**Seniors: Common App help sessions in the Library on Thursdays at 11:40.
Your student will be taking the PSAT on 10/21 (West) 10/22 (East). You must pay the $25 CAPS fee for them to be registered. You can pay this on our Sturgis website at the bottom of the home page, or by cash/check (made out to Sturgis) and given to your school counselor. Please reach out to the counseling office if you have questions.
The Multilingual Learner Department is pleased to announce that Sturgis will again be offering the Massachusetts State Seal of Biliteracy! This is an award that recognizes high school graduates who attain high functional and academic levels of proficiency in English and another world language. Please see the letter that was sent to Sturgis families for more information on how 12th grade students can earn this award: linked here.

Information about Google Additional Services:
As of March 15, 2025, per Google's decree, we implemented Google Workspace for Education's changes to student accounts regarding access to Google services outside of the Google Workspace for Education core services. This requires schools to obtain parental permission for any student under 18 to use each of these services.
Google Core Services (Gmail, Classroom, Drive, Docs, Slides, Forms, Calendar, Sheets, etc.) are NOT affected. Students can continue using these services as they currently do. Google Additional Services (including YouTube, Translate*, Earth, and Photos) was disabled for student accounts on March 15, 2025. To reinstate these services, please complete the Google Additional Services Parental Consent form. Consent provided via this Google form will apply to the remainder of the 2024-2025 school year.

Save The Date for the first STAGE production of the Year! Radium Girls runs November 14-16 at 529 Main Street, and involves over 100 students from East and West on the cast and crew. The show chronicles the true story of the women who were poisoned by radium while making luminous watch dials at the American Radium Corporation in the 1920's. We hope you will come see this powerful, fabulous show!
