Sturgis East Prom

Dear Parents/guardians and students:

Basic information about the Sturgis East prom, including expectations, is below. You will need to return a signed permission slip to Ms. McInerney in the library when you buy your prom ticket. You will not be able to buy a ticket to prom until this form is completed. Printed copies can be picked up in the school library.

Tickets are on sale until May 15.

Date: Saturday, May 23, 2026

Location: The Coonamessett (311 Gifford St, Falmouth, MA 02540)

Time: 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM 

Who: Sturgis East Classes of 2026 and 2027 and their guests (all other guests need to complete the guest permission form for Sturgis students or Non-Sturgis Students and bring a photo ID to the prom) 

Tickets: Tickets are $85 each and must be purchased through this link or the QR code on the second page of the permission slip. Payment must be by credit card or EBT only. Note: you must put the STUDENT’S NAME on the payment form. Once payment is made, students can get their tickets by bringing their signed forms to Ms. McInerney in the school library. Tickets will be on sale from April 29 to May 15. 

Parking: Limited to 115 spots; please carpool.

Other information: 

• Parents can drop students off, but are not allowed to stay on the premises.  

• A professional photographer will share photos within two weeks of the prom.

Sturgis East Graduation Information

Graduation for the Class of 2026 is coming soon! Here are a few things to keep in mind to prepare your graduate(s) and hopefully answer any questions in advance that may arise. 

The Class of 2026 graduation will take place Saturday, May 30th at the Melody Tent.

The tent is open seating and we will allow people to take seats 45 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony.

May 29th, Mandatory Graduation Rehearsal: 

Please note, all school issued materials (books, Chromebooks, uniforms) are due back by rehearsal. East campus will take place at 12:45 pm.

Rehearsal will not begin until all seniors are present, so please plan to arrive early or on time at the Melody Tent wearing your cap and gown. 

May 30th, Day of Graduation: 

The East campus ceremony will be at 2:30 pm, the length for each will be approximately ninety minutes.  All graduates received 8 invitations for guests. Seating in the tent will be for guests with tickets only.

Seniors need to arrive with cap and gown no later than one hour and 15 minutes  before the ceremony and meet in the Atrium in the West campus. Sturgis has hired a professional photographer, Estaben Marte, who will make all captured photos available to download for free. 

Parking:

On graduation day parking for families is available at the Melody Tent and seniors will park at Sturgis West. There are handicap accessible parking spaces and seats available at the Melody Tent.
