As part of our Annual Report process, we are sending the THIS LINK to the Parent Survey to you as a means of gaining your feedback about our school. Please take a few minutes to answer the questions by no later than Friday, May 22. We value your input and look forward to reviewing the results of the survey so that we can continue to enhance the excellent program that we offer to Sturgis students. The results of the survey will be included in our Annual Report to the Department of Education and will be available for parents in late August.
All Sturgis East 10th-grade students will take their MCAS Math exams on Tuesday, May 19th, and Wednesday, May 20th. It is important that they be in school on time for those days, be well-rested, and have a good breakfast. Rosters and room assignments will be posted in the hallways. Students should bring a good writing utensil with them as well as a pleasure reading book, as they may not work on schoolwork after they have completed testing. They will remain in the testing space from 8:20-11:35 (or longer if they need more time to finish).
As the end of the school year approaches, there will be a lot of news specifically for parents of seniors.
Please take a look at the Senior Scoop page for important updates.
