STUDIO REHEARSAL

Keep it simple! Dancers should wear their regular class attire and bring ONLY the dance shoes needed for their holiday performance.

DRESS REHEARSAL | ARRIVE READY!

It's costume time! Dancers should arrive wearing the costume, tights, and shoes for their FIRST (or ONLY) dance.

Performing in multiple dances? Bring all additional costumes, tights, shoes, and accessories in a garment bag, clearly labeled with your dancer's name.

No performance hair or makeup needed! Save the full stage-ready look for the BIG DAY! 🎄

Your dancer's holiday costume is ready for its big stage debut! Here are a few tips to keep everything performance-ready.

KEEP IT STAGE-READY!

Hang costumes in a safe place as soon as they come home.

Keep costumes clean and away from food, drinks, and pets.

Check that you have all costume pieces and accessories.

Label your dancer's belongings, including shoes and accessories.

Keep tights and dance shoes together with the costume so nothing gets left behind.

A LITTLE REMINDER!

Please do not allow dancers to wear or play in their costumes before rehearsal and show day. We want everyone looking fabulous when those stage lights come on!

IT'S TIME TO GET STAGE-READY!

All dancers should arrive on performance day with their hair and makeup complete and ready for the stage!

HAIR | KEEP IT OFF THAT BEAUTIFUL FACE!

We recommend hairstyles that keep hair pulled away from your dancer's face so we can see those beautiful expressions on stage!

A few great options:

• Half-up, half-down

• The classic ballet bun

• A high or low ponytail

• A beautiful braid

Don't forget the bobby pins and hairspray! Hair should be neat, secure, and ready to last through the performance.

MAKEUP | READY FOR THE LIGHTS!

Stage lighting can wash out facial features, so a little performance makeup helps our dancers shine under the lights!

Keep makeup age-appropriate and stage-ready.

A LITTLE REMINDER!

Hair and makeup are NOT required for dress rehearsal. Save the full performance look for show day!

Please arrive with hair and makeup already completed. Backstage is not the place for last-minute beauty appointments! 💕

• A labeled water bottle

• Any necessary hair accessories for quick touch-ups

No food, snacks, cell phones, tablets, toys, or other personal belongings backstage.

Our backstage space is busy, and we want our dancers focused on their performance, their friends, and having FUN!

CHECK-IN | LET'S GET THIS SHOW STARTED!

Our Dancer Check-In Station will be located in the theatre lobby.

• Check-in opens ONE HOUR before showtime.

• ALL dancers must be checked in and backstage 30 MINUTES before showtime.

• Arrive dressed in your first (or only) performance costume, tights, and shoes, with hair and makeup complete.

Once checked in, our Studio Dee staff will escort dancers to their assigned dressing rooms.

BABY STARZ | OUR LITTLEST PERFORMERS!

Our littlest stars have their own special schedule!

• Check in just 20 MINUTES before showtime at our lobby check-in station.

• Immediately following their AMAZING performance, parents will meet their Baby Starz back at the check-in station.

• Then feel free to return to your seats and enjoy the rest of the show with your little star! 🌟

BACKSTAGE | WE'VE GOT YOUR DANCERS!

All dressing rooms are supervised by Studio Dee staff throughout the performance.

For the safety and organization of our dancers, backstage and dressing rooms are reserved for dancers and Studio Dee faculty only.

Parents, sit back and enjoy the show! We have a seating chart, so if we need you during the performance, we'll know exactly where to find you.

FINALE & DISMISSAL | ONE LAST BIG MOMENT!

At the conclusion of our grand finale, all participating dancers will remain onstage.

Parents will be invited to join their dancers onstage for a happy reunion!

Each class will have an assigned older dancer, our Studio Dee "Bigs," who will remain with their group until every dancer has been reunited with their family. Our faculty will also remain onstage to help facilitate a smooth dismissal.

Once reunited, families may exit together.
