Linda is the Director of African Programs and Managing Director of African Liberty at Students For Liberty Inc. She has expertise in development consultancy, domestic and international policy, regional trade integration, legal practice, and the African Continental Free Trade Area.
She advises and sits on the boards of a number of nonprofit organizations and works closely with think tanks in her capacity as a fellow. Linda is an avid writer, contributing her views on trade, free markets, and property rights, among other subjects published by local and International media houses. She is dedicated to mentoring Africa’s future leaders and building the capacity of women and youth through economic development initiatives.
Magatte Wade is an entrepreneur and advocate for African dignity and prosperity. Her TED talk, “Why it is too hard to start a business in Africa – and how to change it” has been seen by more than 600K people. She is a Forbes “20 Youngest Power Women in Africa”, a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum at Davos, a TED Global Africa Fellow, and a “Leading Woman in Wellness” award winner by the Global Wellness Summit. In 2014 she was featured on the cover of Forbes Afrique for being the person in Francophone Africa having the greatest positive impact on the future. She serves as the Director of the Atlas Network’s Center for African Prosperity.

His commitment to entrepreneurship is evident in his 'Championing Entrepreneurship' campaign, including extensive walks to raise awareness. Dumisani has also served as a judge for various entrepreneurship initiatives and has conducted training sessions for notable companies like Prudential Insurance, FnB, Zanaco and Coca Cola.
Mwanda Phiri-Mwewa is an economist with expertise in research and policy advisory. With a strong understanding of Africa’s socioeconomic context, Mwanda is dedicated to driving economic prosperity and transformation across the continent. As Africa Lead for the Charter Cities Institute (CCI), Mwanda has successfully established and expanded CCI’s presence and recognition globally, particularly in Zambia and the region. Prior to joining CCI, Mwanda served as head of the Trade and Investment Unit at the Zambia Institute for Policy Analysis and Research. She has contributed significantly to key national policy documents in Zambia such as the 7th National Development Plan.
Mwanda is a published author with 10 years of working experience. Her research interests include inclusive and sustainable industrial development, structural transformation, trade, governance, and private sector development. Mwanda’s expertise has been recognized through appointments to influential networks like the World Economic Forum Global Future Council on Complex Risks and Zambia’s Capital Markets Tribunal.
Priscilla Chitimwango is a Junior Trade Policy Advisor at the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) – Zambia under GIZ African Union. She specializes in trade policy analysis, regional integration, and economic development, with a focus on Zambia’s role in the AfCFTA framework.
In her role, Priscilla supports policy formulation, stakeholder engagement, and capacity-building initiatives to enhance Zambia’s trade competitiveness within the AfCFTA. She works closely with government agencies, private sector actors, and international partners to promote inclusive and sustainable trade policies that drive economic growth and regional integration.
Joseph Phiri, is a Journalist at the Zambia National Broadcasting Corporation.

Emmanuel Muma is an experienced specialist in International Trade Policy and Economics with expertise in trade policy, law, industry, and investment. Currently serving as Acting Research Fellow 1 in the Trade and Investment Unit at the Zambia Institute for Policy Analysis and Research (ZIPAR), Emmanuel has a strong academic foundation, holding a Master’s degree in International Relations from the University of East London and a Bachelor’s degree in Development Economics. Additionally, he pursued advanced Master’s studies in Trade Policy and Trade Law at ESAMI and TRAPCA in Tanzania.
With over eight years of experience in economic research, Emmanuel has worked extensively on key development sectors such as trade, investment, mining, agriculture, and tourism at both national and regional levels. His impactful research contributions include studies on Zambia-China trade relations, Zambia's copper production strategy, MICE tourism development, and the role of multi-facility economic zones. These works have significantly influenced economic policy and strategy.
Walter Kasempa is a governance expert, author, and speaker, and the founder of Youth Unite Zambia, a youth-led organization driving social, economic, and political transformation in Zambia and Africa. He serves as the Migration Youth Ambassador for Southern Africa with UN-IOM and AU, advocating for free movement across the continent.
Author of A Beacon of Hope: How to Unlock Zambia’s Potential, Walter received the 2021 Visionary Leader Award from the Economics Association of Zambia and was named among Zambia’s Top 30 Under 30 Youth Leaders in 2023.

Beaulah Namakau Chombo is an economist and passionate trade advocate dedicated to advancing trade as a driver of economic growth and regional integration. She champions inclusive trade policies that align with sustainable development goals and actively promotes youth inclusion in trade and investment.
With professional experience spanning both the public and private sectors, Beaulah has contributed to economic development through roles at the Zambia Development Agency, the Ministry of Commerce, Trade and Industry, and the Zambia Agribusiness and Trade Project. Her expertise includes trade facilitation, policy analysis, and research.
Her primary areas of focus include advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), fostering trade within the framework of AfCFTA implementation, and driving investment to support economic transformation.
Cliffton is the Executive Director of the Centre for Peace Research and Advocacy (CPRA) with over 17 years of experience in peace and conflict resolution, humanitarian aid, and development. He has led initiatives in conflict prevention, peacebuilding, climate justice, refugee support, SGBV and CSA prevention, community mobilization, advocacy, human rights, and economic empowerment.
Holding a BA in Peace and Conflict Resolution and currently pursuing an LLB at ZAOU, Cliffton is extensively trained in human security, project management, advocacy, diplomacy, child protection, and psychosocial counseling. As a certified Trainer of Trainers, he specializes in evidence-based programming, leadership, and mentorship.
Ruth Ngoma is a Zambian youth with an educational background in science laboratory technology. She has demonstrated a strong interest in development, policy, and decision-making, distinguishing herself as a visionary leader committed to driving positive change. Currently, she serves as the Commonwealth Youth Ambassador.
At just 23 years old, Ruth’s exceptional leadership and dedication earned recognition from the President of Zambia, Mr. Hakainde Hichilema, during the 2024 National Youth Indaba. This presidential commendation highlighted her outstanding contributions and granted her the prestigious opportunity to represent Zambia on the global stage at the 2024 United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) Forum in the United States.

Morgan Tatsvareyi is a dedicated human rights defender and Agenda 2063 champion, committed to advancing youth empowerment, social justice, and sustainable development across Africa.
As the National Coordinator for Lesotho and Namibia, he fosters regional collaborations and advocates for policies that amplify youth voices in decision-making processes.
In his role as the Monitoring and Evaluation Manager at Youth Decide Zimbabwe, he ensures the effectiveness of youth-led initiatives through strategic assessment and impact measurement. His work aligns closely with the African Union’s Agenda 2063, emphasizing inclusive development, good governance, and human rights.

Dickson found his interest in ideas of liberty and free society while studying for his BA. in Political Science and Public Administration at the University of Dar es Salaam. He joined SFL in 2016, the second year of his bachelor’s degree. He served as Local Coordinator, National Coordinator for Tanzania, and Regional Coordinator for Southern Africa in his volunteering capacity.
Dickson worked with Liberty Sparks as a Director of Programs and Administration between 2017 and 2020. He served as African Students For Liberty Programs Intern from October 2020 to January 2022 and Design and Marketing Intern from June to October 2022.
He is a communication and marketing expert with Postgraduate Diploma in Mass Communication. He co-founded Inspire Better Education Tanzania, a nonprofit organization based in Tanzania.
Blessing Banda is an award-winning changemaker, corporate events host, and branding expert. A final-year law student at Cavendish University Zambia, she was the first female Law Faculty President (2023-2024).
