WHS Goes Global: International Night


Westerly High School recently hosted the WHS Goes Global event, showcasing the diversity of cultures in our community. This event was organized by the school's language teachers, the International Club, and seniors from the Language Honor Society. The event featured a buffet of dishes prepared by different restaurants and families from the community, representing foods from all over the world. The event was a success, with community members coming together to enjoy the delicious food and learn about different cultures. WHS Goes Global was more than just an event but an opportunity for the community to unite. The language teachers at Westerly High School emphasize the importance of understanding and embracing different cultures, and WHS Goes Global is a perfect example of this. It was an event that celebrated diversity and promoted unity in the community.
