Threats to the red panda

Unfortunately, “It is estimated that there are less than 10,000 and as few as 2,500 Red Pandas remaining in the wild” ( https://www.marwell.org.uk/animals/red-panda/ ). It’s very disappointing that the main cause of death for the Red Pandas is poaching, or illegal hunting mainly from their valuable red fur. They can also get caught in traps meant for wild pigs or deer. However, they can also lose their life due to habitat destruction. If we didn’t have people helping them, their huge role in conserving and showing how important the area that they live in is would be lost, and people would forget about it completely. This makes people, including people far away, feel bad for the Red Pandas. How would you feel if a cuddly red fur ball was lost to human needs? What would happen if we didn’t protect their habitat? They would be gone forever.
