The goal of this activity was to advertise a book of our choice. Once we made a digital version, we traced and painted it. The intention was not only to be creative, but to also persuade someone else to read the book. The most challenging part was painting because I had to practice patience. I did about three to four coats for everything and had to wait for the book spine to dry. I am most proud that I got to finish the book spine and have it turn out the way I wanted it.  

The goal of this assignment was to design a name badge for the Leaning Commons Staff. Once done, the Librarians would choose one to use across all four classes. To design my name badge I learned how to navigate online designing spaces. I was able to be creative by choosing my template and fonts. Although my design was not chosen, I still got the opportunity to be innovative.
