What is the message behind your channel?
Growing up, I used to be a YouTube kid. Netflix was never really my thing, it was always just Youtube videos. I liked seeing how inspirational some Youtubers could be and the positive vibes they gave everyone around them. I want to do the same thing by carrying a smile everywhere I go. I always say: ‘smile when you walk into a room’ because it just immediately brings the energy into the room. I try to always make sure I’m staying positive and sharing that with others.
What do you want it to mean to other people?
I want my videos to inspire others to be themselves. All the people on my channel are being themselves and I like that they feel welcome in my videos. Because of this, I have a wide range of videos ranging from sports videos, vlogs, events, games etc for people to just come out and be who they are.
What does the future look like for both you and your channel?
My future plans are to go to Wake Tech for two years then transferring to Charlotte. I’m planning on majoring in marketing to help start my own business along with a project I’m doing right now called Indonesian Eats. My main focus right now is becoming a social influencer outside of the Wake Tech stuff. I currently have a schedule where I’m uploading videos on my YouTube channel, Dwiki’s World, weekly. The dream is for influencing to become my main career. I want to keep building up my platform here in Raleigh and expand it. The goal is to eventually move out to LA and start a content house filled with other influencers who share the same message. Once income starts coming in from my channel, I want to start my own clothing brand called ‘Dwiki’s World’ where our motto will be “be the flow” which is all about just being yourself instead of worrying about being someone else- find your own flow.
Where do the profits go?
Currently I’m getting my main profit from my side business Indonesian Eats which is a big help for my YouTube especially with the camera I’m trying to save up for. It’s all about growing right now and with that growth, y’all are gonna see me at the top.
