There is a big animal in the rainforest. Can you guess what it is? GORILLAS ! Gorillas are big and mostly black animals that live in the rainforest. According to www.worldwildlife , “The eastern lowland gorilla—also known as Grauer’s gorilla—is the largest of the four gorilla subspecies.” Now here are some unique things about gorillas. Their status is critically endangered. Also there scientific name is gorilla beringei graueri.

A gorilla’s height is “4 to 5 ½ feet tall when standing on two feet.”according to www.worldwildlife. They also “Weigh 440 pounds,” according to www.worldwildlife. Scientist learn lots about gorillas everyday. There are good things about gorillas and some negative things about them. One thing that is bad or negative is that they need our help. They should be protected.
