Teaching has given me the opportunity to combine my love of literature, research, and learning with a commitment to helping students develop confidence as writers, readers, and critical thinkers. Whether introducing academic research, exploring literary texts, or guiding students through the writing process, I strive to create a classroom where curiosity is encouraged and every student feels supported.
I believe learning is most meaningful when students actively engage with ideas, ask thoughtful questions, and connect classroom concepts to their own experiences. My role is to provide guidance, encouragement, and the tools students need to become confident researchers, writers, and lifelong learners.
I hope students leave my classroom with more than a completed assignment. My goal is for them to develop the confidence to ask questions, evaluate information thoughtfully, communicate effectively, and continue learning long after the course has ended.
