What is iGEM?
What is iGEM?
iGEM is a worldwide competition based on synthetic biology. Each year, each team decides on a project that aims to solve a problem they see in the world by using synthetic biology.

Our Team
We are TAS_Taipei, a high school iGEM team based in Taipei, Taiwan. And this year, our team, UniversO, is addressing the issue of blood type incompatibility by modifying different blood types into the universal donor blood type O. We use many of the techniques and concepts taught in our activity packets to achieve this goal.
