I chose to do my project on Ancient Rome Because i thought it was very interesting and something fun to do. I accomplished many things in my video such as transitions, and audio fades and the increase in the volume too. I originally was going to make a 3d model but ended up just making a video where I talk and where I added many photos to my original video.
The content of my video consists of showing all my viewers what it was like for Rome and how it was “built” and/ or “created”. I wanted to make it intriguing and interesting to whoever was viewing it. I also wanted to make it look pretty and very easy to understand.
I learned how to transition from a fade in to a fade out in the music I chose and I learned how to add photos and incorporate words on some parts of my video.
I had many strengths but even more weaknesses. The strengths I had included knowing how to put the video in and knowing how to add words and photos in. The weaknesses in my video included how to add in a cross-fade and how to resize images and make the volume on the music gradually louder or softer. Overall the video turned out pretty good in my opinion.
I faced many challenges such as adding in new things and making it better and better each time I worked on it. I would change quite a bit in the next one I do. Such as researching little tutorials and teaching myself how to do new things. This project was very time consuming but It was very fun and I enjoyed every long class period of it.
A panorama is a type of photo that is vertical, and each photo that is taken is overlapping just a little bit. As you take the photos you have to have the camera on a tripod and move the camera just a little bit. Just so you can get a full view of the picture. This type of photo is used to show a landscape or any type of subject that you want to photograph, essentially you'll end up with a long photo of whatever it was that you tried to shoot.
An HDR photo is a type of picture that includes different shutter speeds and over and under exposing them the photos. To do this type of picture you need to go into photoshop and merge them together. In the end you should have a photo that has different varieties of color and contrast as well as lights and darks.
Reflection:
What did you propose to do for this project? What did you end up accomplishing on the final project? Explain additional work you added from your original idea if your proposal wasn’t ambitious enough for an extended project.
A story about plants but making it clear what the story is about and making it smooth. We made a clear story with small changes but a good hook to pull the watcher/viewers in. We added “Easter eggs” for an extra time detail and a fun guessing game at the end of the animation
Explain the content of your animation. What is the meaning or story you told?
Jack and the beanstalk animation from childhood
Explain the skills you learned to make your animation.
Drawing, cutting, taping, inch by inch increments, working premiere.
Write a paragraph to reflect on the strengths and weaknesses of your work.
We had many strengths and many weaknesses but one big problem we had was not having a lot of time to make our characters and other little details in our animation. We could have done a better job at making everything flow smoothly and making what was going on in the animation a little more clear. A couple things we did really well at was that it wasn’t boring at all, we added a fun little game into it and spent a bunch of time detailing the props whether that be the buildings, animals, backgrounds, or characters.
What challenges did you face with this long term project? How might you improve your product on a future long term project?
To make everything look realistic, a fun animation, not super challenging but enough to keep us busy. We could make more than one paper person but for the same character.

I switched the settings on the camera to take three photos one for the correctly exposed, one for over and, one for under exposed. It didn't take very long to complete this assignment because the camera does all the work mainly.
To do this assignment I had to go into the menu option on the camera and switch the dial to make it under, over and correctly expose the photo. I also had the camera set on the shutter speed priority setting to make it only take photos and change the aperture not the shutter speed.
I chose to do a flower and plant theme. I chose this because it was mainly a last resort but also because i love nature and plants/flowers. The pictures i took were the flowers and plants on my front porch.
