What was the purpose? What texture did I show? How was I able to show this texture? Why did I choose this texture?

The purpose was to get the texture of a thing across by using only 3 colors. I picked the texture of George Clooney as a part of my inside joke. I just posterized the thing and colored it yellow, then carved it into a floppy slab. I figure in retrospect I did it because everyone else was picking animals rather than humans, but it was mostly for the inside joke.

How'd I do it? How is this a reduction print? How is this a relief print? What does registration mean?

I put some ink on the slab and pressed it onto the paper, then I carved out bits of it and repeated until I was done. I guess it’s a simplified picture of George Clooney. It is because I’ve done it one layer at a time.

What was challenging about the project? What do I think I succeeded at?

Lining up the block and paper and marking the spots I needed to carve. Carving and inking.
