Pure Contour

For my Hand Holding a Rubber-band the main idea guiding this artwork was that I had to find a way to draw my hand holding a Rubber-band. I was trying to figure out if I could make the bend in the rubber band on the paper look real. For this artwork, I wanted to do every detail I had in my hand and the detail in the rubber band, and how the rubber band bent. The materials I used to make this were my hand, a rubber band, Graphite on drawing paper and the size of the paper was 9"x12". I practice how to draw just my hand at first then I practice how to draw the rubber band. I experimented with the way I put my hand and made 5 different verses till I found the one I liked the most. I revise the messy lines and then I darkened the lines with a darker pencil.
