Bio:

This is my second year teaching at Frontier Trail and my sixth year teaching Physical Education. I enjoy providing opportunities for middle school students to be active. In class, I expect students to work hard, show good sportsmanship and most importantly, have fun.

I grew up in Olathe and attended Arbor Creek Elementary, Chisholm Trail Middle School, Olathe South High School and graduated from Olathe East High School. I then went to play soccer for KU. Rock Chalk! After graduating from KU, I came back home to Olathe and got my first teaching job at Indian Woods Middle School in the Shawnee Mission School District. I taught PE there for 4 years before coming to FT.

My maiden name is Lukinac. I just got married in May of 2023. My husband is a firefighter and has been with the Olathe Fire Department for 7 years. I feel so blessed to be able to serve the Olathe community alongside him. Outside of teaching PE, I am a Strong Nation Fitness Instructor. I teach at the Olathe Community Center and at various Genesis locations. I love spending time with my family and being outdoors.
