Environmental Control

Environmental Control Unit: Control up to two electrical appliances/items. Once the appliances/items are pluged into the control unit, the student can use either a wired switch or wireless switch to control the appliances/items. Many classrooms find this beneficial for independent living, recreation leisure, or vocational tasks. Here are some appliances you might consider plugging into the control unit:

• Blender

• Adapted pouring cup

• Mixer

• Radio

• Shredder

• Lights

• Electronic toys

• Hair dryer

• Fan
