Hemophilia is almost always is inherited from a parent to a child. Both hemophilia A and B are inherited in the same way, because both the genes for factor VIII and factor IX are located on the X chromosome. And the lack of clotting factor proteins VIII and IX makes stopping bleeding nearly impossible because the blood can not properly clot. This makes people with hemophilia very injury prone.
Hemophilia is an inherited bleeding disease in which the blood doesn't clot properly, the key symptoms are unexplained and excessive bleeding from cuts or injuries, or after surgery or dental work. Institute researchers are exploring the possibility of treating the disorder with gene therapy
Reflection
2 things that I did well were staying on task the whole time, and doing most of the work in the project.
2 things I think I need to work on for next time are distributing the work and listening more to my peers
Transcription is copying a gene's DNA sequence to make an RNA molecule
Transcription takes place in the nucleus of the cell
The 3 main parts of transcription are initiation, elongation, and termination
