reflection
To start off this project I drew model 1 in my notebook. It was litterly just a random sketch with no refrence or anything mathmateical. After doing some learning my partner and I were ready to draw up model 2. For this model we had lots of refrence and data. This model just had to contian one element of scale. For that element of scale we chose planet size and mesured out the planets and used a compass for better circles. After that we moved onto model 3 which was using some data and recording it on the model. More specificly we added the orbital velocity amd period for each planet. Next we moved onto model 4 which seemed very hard at first. The first step of that was finding patterns in the given data set. That set contained factors about dimension and orbiting for each planet. After a little while of looking, I found the pattern I wanted to use. This pattern was using the orbital velocity and distance from the sun to find the orbital period. This is very similar to the the formula for time so I started with that. That was way off and I didn't know why. I decided to just multiply some numbers in and I got closer and closer. eventually I narrowed down a multiplier and made my equation. We then put this equation and supporting information in a presentation. That cocluded model 4 and we moved on to model 5 which is the most mathmatical of the models. First on the front we found four patterns and used illistrations to further explain them. After that we moved on to calculations on the back. After doing those we done with the project and I learned alot.
