Our assignment was to make 3 physical models depicting the solar system. First, we started with Model 4 and me and my partner made a to-scale-model of the planets and their spacing, mass, and temperature. We used information readily available to implement into our design. Next, we had to make a part A and B for our Model 5. This consisted of one model with different questions to answer, like orbital speed. We wrote these 4 questions out and then solved them using different problems. For the following model, we had to calculate the orbital period and out weight on that planet. We used T = 2d/v for the orbital period and F = Gm1m2/r2 for our weight. We used these problems for 2 imaginary planets X and Y;also Earth.
Reflection: Two things I did well were, focusing on my work, and communicating with my partner. 2 things I could improve on would be listening to other ideas, and my drawing skills.
