How It Works

We used the spring force of the rubber band to create an energy that would rotate the wheels of our car and move it forward. The rubber band winds around the back axle of the car to create a rotational speed. The car then speeds up gradually while the rubber band unwinds before it begins to slow. The car almost instantly stops as the rubber band is fully unwound and is no longer attached to the back wheel axle.
