My Sport & Goals

My Sport

The sport I am playing in the fall season is football. It takes a lot to be good at football. It takes weight lifting 5 times a week, going to the field and training every day, working on agility and speed with a coach, studying the game and watch film, and working on mechanics. It is more of a lifestyle because you have to miss things hanging out with friends and going on vacations. Most days I wake up early to train, and have for years. I try to get teammates out to the field to throw and run routes, sometimes it's just me and some nets to throw into.

Football is a team sport, every player needs to play together and follow the game plan, while being ready to pivot.

Goals

My goal for the season was to win a championship.

Specific - Winning a championship is something you either win or lose, there is no in between

Measurable - I will know if my team is on the right path by our wins and loses of the season.

Attainable- It is attainable because we have a really good team.

Realistic - It is realistic because we are the number 1 seed in our NCS Division.

Time-bound - In 2 weeks I will know if I succeed in my goal.

My goal for the sport of football - play in college and the NFL.

Measurable - Getting a roster spot on a team.
