Maker Philosophy

As an educator, I strive to create a sense of wonder and to inspire curiosity. I hope to encourage an exciting, multi-sensory environment, which ignites a passion for learning through inquiry and making. Creativity and critical thinking are the heart of the maker learning environment. I guide students to communicate and collaborate with one another in order to learn from each other on our maker journey. By creating a safe space, students are eager to celebrate their failures and successes. They understand that with each failure, we persevere and learn more each time on our quest for the perfect maker project.
