design/build cycle
The first thing I did was figure out which instrument we were doing, we ended up deciding that I would do a chime instrument. I started by designing my blueprints so I could make them the best I could. I started with coming up with 6.5 inches for the biggest note. I then used an assignment from Google Classroom to find out the lengths it needed to be. I then went into the makers' space to find a good piece of wood to hold my instrument. I ended up finding a piece of foam that was big enough so it hold all of my notes but also not too thin that it would go through. I then hot-glued both of those pieces together. I ended up finding 2 wood sticks that were perfect for hitting notes. in the end I had the notes go ontop of the foam so that it hold the notes but also it doesn't move.
