Our first class assignment was a rube Goldberg machine witch is a machine that uses a series of simple machines to over complicate a simple task.
my groups first step was to find a board that would suite our idea of our rube Goldberg machine once we picked out the perfect board we then started bringing the idea to life firstly getting the board prepped by sanding it down and getting rid of excess glue from the last users then the next step was to attatch the base and the roof helping the board stand up straight
the first part of our idea that we made was a pulley system that would have a ball drop into the cup pulling up a tin foil ball then we made a little car that was supposed to carry the ball but was later scratched while making this car we also added a screw witch was made out of cardboard then also later replaced with a plastic version of the screw then made the lever also adding color to the machine to make it look more like a haunted house then a wooden board finishing our rube goldberg machine
