Outdoor Furniture Design
The design my group and I decided on was inspired by the bench seen in the movie "The Parent Trap" with Lindsey Lohan. We wanted to create a bench that would allow students to escape the rain during the rainy season as well as escape the sun during the hot summer days. The build also allows for face-to-face conversation. The seats are located directly across from each other, padded with squishy seat coushins.

The total cost of the bench would be $436.76. The bench is way more aesthetically pleasing compared to the ordinary green benches bought for schools.
Reflection -
I feel if we were able to move forward with our design and actually build this bench, it would be a great addition to the campus. I feel this project was very fun and was an amazing creative outlet. It allowed us to use our own ideas and creative skills to create something that was completely ours. I enjoyed the process of creating the design. I feel I could work on my presentation skills and preparation. When we explained our build to the class, I felt when it was my turn I was very unprepared. Overall, this project was a great learning experience.
