A New Home

After arriving in America, Nick attended the Watertown Public Schools, where he made lifelong friends, and played sports such as football and threw shot put for track and field.

Nick also participated in GOYA Basketball, a Greek-orthodox church league that plays at Hellenic College.

"The Celtics also practiced at Hellenic College. Three legends played at that court, me, my cousin Nick, and Larry Bird."

After High School Nick studied in Boston at Wentworth Institution of Technology and Northeastern University. It was at this time where he met my mother, Tamara, at a restaurant in Harvard Square. After living in an apartment for some time, the couple got married in 1990 and moved to Needham, MA where they raise their family of four children: Ali, Greg, Tim, and Peter (me).

Nick is a family man, who loves working around the house, cooking, going to church, and Sunday Night Football.

To this day, Greek culture is very important in Nick's life. He loves to cook and eat Greek food, he attends a Greek Orthodox church in Watertown regularly, and enjoys listening to Grecian Echoes (a Greek-Boston radio program).
