Lawrence R. Cummings (Papa) is the son of Lawrence F. Cummings and Mary Cummings, born in 1941. My grandfather talked about the life of an Irish immigrant, and how his parents came to move from Ireland to Boston.
Both my great grandparents Lawrence F. Cummings and Mary G. Cummings, made their leap of a lifetime. From a little farm town in Galway, Ireland, to the city of Boston, Massachusetts, the couple left their homeland behind in search of new job opportunities for a better future for not only them, but generations to come.
