Artist's Statement

I’ve always loved painting in watercolors ever since I was little. As I played around more, I also grew to love gouache and occasionally oil pastels, depending on the project. In my paintings, I tend to experiment with light & shadows, different environments, figures, and movement— hoping to emulate the ambiance of a space through color and design choices.

More fun facts— My favorite color is purple if you couldn’t already tell, my favorite book-genre is dystopian literature, and I love to go into the city on the weekends to paint and explore. Cape Cod has my heart, and you’ll probably see me painting there on the beach between the months of June and August.
