Where to?
Chipper arrived in South Boston originally because of the amount of Irish people he knew who had gone there before him. Then, over the next 20 years, he moved throughout towns like West Roxbury, Hyde Park, and Dedham, and eventually landed in Needham where he raised his eight kids.
Work
Chipper struggled when he first immigrated here. Prices were high and finding places to eat, sleep and work was much more difficult than others had described.Â
However, he worked hard and used his skills in masonry to start his own company, Galway Masonry. He started slow with some jobs that he got from elderly people in town and slowly started to get recognition for his fast and beautiful stone work. Now, his company has skyrocketed and his dream of being a business owner in America has come true.
