Do I need my ID card to check out a book?
No, you may tell us your student ID number at the checkout counter if you don’t have your ID card for us to scan
How long may I keep my book?
Books have a 21 day checkout period. They may be renewed if needed. (Books need to be present to renew)
Can I put a hold on a book?
YES- you can places holds anytime you like on Destiny. Once your hold is in you will receive and email to pick up your item at the library.
What is Sora?
Sora provides 24/7 access to e-books and audiobooks via your Chromebook, phone or tablet. Ask for more information from a library staff member! You can also find more details here.
What type of technology is available for me to use in the library?
30 Chromebooks (overnight checkout with permission slip)
15 ipads (use in room only)

Are food and drink allowed in the library?
Food is not allowed in the library and should be eaten in the cafeteria OR the classroom that you are assigned to for lunch.
Beverages ARE allowed. If you spill please ask for some cleaning supplies and assist with cleanup!
Do I need a pass to come to the library?
Yes, students need a pass to come to the library. The only time you do not need a pass is before or after school. Staff will check your e-pass.
If you leave prior to the end of the class period you should let Ms. Melissa or Mr. Weber know so they can click “Returning” on your e-pass.
E-school students who don’t leave the building are allowed to sign in and work in the library.
Release students should be leaving the building for their release period. If you cannot leave the building you should report to the study hall. You may not hang out in the library or the hallways.
What if I lose or damage a book?
Unfortunately, if you lose or badly damage a library book/item you will be responsible for the cost of it. (Do not check out books for other people, if they lose it or damage it the only person we will have on record for being responsible for it is YOU.) Lost or damaged book fines go to your Infinite Campus account if they are not rectified before the end of the school year.
