Approval from the GRPS Research Review Committee is required before beginning any research or evaluation that involves district staff, students, facilities, or functions in:
The collection of data from students, parents, teachers, administrators, or other professional staff;
Focus groups, or individual interviews involving any of the above persons; or
The release of data from District records (note that all data requests must be associated with an already-approved research request or be accompanied by a research request).
Step 1. Review the evaluation and research at GRPS guide. This includes Information on request requirements and the review process.
Step 2. Use the research request template to compile all of the information needed in the online application.
Step 3. Complete the research design table. This must be submitted in the online application.
Step 4. Submit your completed application.
Starting July 1, 2022, GRPS revised submission and review windows for research and data requests. The new application and processing windows are presented.
