The softball field is undergoing continued development this summer. The dugouts now feature poured concrete flooring, along with new sidewalks. Dura Edge has come in to regrade the infield. Several projects are still yet to be completed, including the installation of water and electricity to the dugouts by Double E Landscaping and Fencing. Additionally, a concession stand will be built, a scoreboard will be installed, and gates will be added to the fencing. Restoration of the grass and repairs to the drainage areas are also necessary.
BASEBALL FIELD UPDATE:
The Baseball field has been completed.
The Efficiency Network, INC. (Ten):
The Franklin Area School District has entered into a Guaranteed Energy Savings Contract with TEN. They will collaborate with Huckestein Mechanical and HDG Architects to advance the facilities assessment program focused on energy savings.
SUMMER CLEANING:
The custodians, maintenance, and grounds crew worked hard over the summer to make the District's buildings and grounds beautiful before the staff and students walked back through the front doors this year.

The Softball field is close to being complete. We are now waiting for dry weather to finish the items that need remedied and/or completed and to install the scoreboard and finish out the dugouts.

The Baseball field is close to complete. We are now waiting for dry weather for cosmetic items to be completed and to remedy other items in need.
HVAC CONTROL PROJECT (JR. / SR. HIGH SCHOOL, CENTRAL AND SANDYCREEK)
The HVAC control project is 100% complete.
HUCKESTEIN MECHANICAL & HDG ARCHITECTS
The facilities assessment program is currently in progress. Interviews with administration, staff, and students have been completed. The Operations Committee and administration team is visiting other sites (Districts) to review the different renovation projects and see the work of the different companies.
SPRING CLEANUP UNDERWAY
The maintenance team is working hard to clean up the buildings, grounds, and facilities after a long and harsh winter. Thanks goes out to the entire team for their relentless work and dedication to make the Franklin Area School District grounds as safe, appealing, and welcoming as possible.
