EVHS offers dozens of sports for students to try out for and participate in. There are three high school sports seasons: Fall, Winter, and Spring.
Athletes may only compete in one sport per season. If the seasons overlap, the athlete is expected to complete their current sport before moving on to the next.
Tickets to all EVHS sporting events can be purchased online at https://gofan.co/app/school/CA27404.

Students are not permitted to practice or tryout without being cleared
Steps to get cleared:

You can download all forms if you like, once you are logged into Athletic Clearance
Athletic physical = medical form filled out by your physician
You need to make an appointment and get checked out in person
Appointments fill up quickly so don't wait!!
Athletic physicals are valid for one school year (most people get theirs during the summer so it lasts for all sports seasons in one year)

Student Accident Insurance / Health Insurance
The District has contracted with Pacific Educators, Inc. to provide information for student insurance. The East Side Union High School District does not provide medical, accident or dental insurance for students injured on school premises or through school activities. In accordance with Education Code Section 49472, the District is making available a low cost medical/dental accident insurance program. We urge that serious consideration be given to these programs through Pacific Educators, Inc.
Parents may insure their child for School-Time or 24-hour-a-day Coverage Plans or optional Tackle Football Coverage.
