About Me

Hi, my name is Tamera McNeil, and I am a graduate student at Dominican University of California. I graduated with my B.S. in Health Sciences and am currently anticipated to graduate with my Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy in May 2022. I choose Dominican because of the beautiful campus, and I fell in love with the small classroom sizes. Also, the campus is very close to my hometown: Hercules, California. In addition to that, Dominican is well known for its accelerated Occupational Therapy Program.

At this time, I plan to finish my Level II fieldwork placements this upcoming spring semester 2022. Through these placements hope to further increase my critical thinking and insight as a future Occupational therapist practitioner. Additionally, plan to graduate in May 2022.

As an Occupational therapy graduate student, I hope to work in home health as an occupational therapist. I want to become an Occupational therapist not just to help people but to bring them back to daily occupations and be a strong leader in my field. I have seen how Occupational therapists help people in so many different settings.
