Why Dominican?

I am lucky enough to be going to the college I planned on since sophomore year of high school. My awareness of Dominican started as an 8 year old, when my sister's best friend joined the dance program. As a little dancer myself, I was intrigued. When I was opened up to all of the community building spaces within Dominican, I knew there would be a place for me. As someone actively involved in community service projects and passionate about advocacy, Social Justice was an easy major choice for me.

I was further drawn in by the small class sizes, engaging faculty, and beautiful location.
